Hi there, new to the forum, thought I would post this clip of a New Zealand band - Trinity Roots. First saw this guy Warren Maxwell playing in another band Little Bushman in 2006. Brought along his Mk I Rhodes suitcase to the gig, and hearing that jazz tone figuring out you could get dirty electric keys sounds inspired me to get back into keys, buy a Nord, and start jamming with friends bands.

Quite simple but one of my favourite Rhodes jams. Quite dig the tone of his Rhodes, a bit uneven but a lot of character. Reminds me a bit of a Mk2 with a lot of bell/tine tone but a lot of grit too when hit hard. Then again i've only played three Mk I suitcase/stage Rhodes in the flesh, and they were all pretty different naturally.
