Title: Re-capping power amp
Post by: CJW78 on May 13, 2022, 01:00:45 AM
Hi folks,
My pre-amp for my Rhodes mk 1 suitcase is currently being serviced (i.e. re-capped). I am familiar with what to expect from the upgrade, but it's left me wondering whether it's worth my while re-capping the power amp. Has anyone done this, and was it worth it?

I'm having mine done right now. Mine was having issues though but I'd say if they are original and you're having the preamp done, might be good to do the power amp too.

Thank you. I've just ordered a power amp re-build kit from Vintage Vibes.
