Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum.  Just came into ownership of a yamaha cp70.  Been wanting something like this for a while and found this for a killer deal.  However, it is missing a few parts.  I am in need of the sustain pedal, push rod, and power supply.  The only place I can find these parts is vintagemusicparts.com.  Does anyone have any other suggestions as to where I can get parts?  That site is a little pricey.

I also don't have the lid to cover and pack up the keys section.. Any ideas of what to do there?  Is there a way to get schematics and build something similar?

Hey there,

I'm new to the forum too (although you are new since 2017)  8)
Here is what I found interesting as a source for spare parts for Yamaha CP 70/80 : https://www.ep-service.nl/shop/yamaha-cp-piano-parts.

You may be able to find certain parts at Yamaha.com. They do sell to anyone, but parts may be limited to just common parts, like keytops, bass strings, etc. Any piano tech should be able to get you a replacement bass string, but would need to send in the broken string to the factory for exact match.
Most Yamaha pianos and eps have used the same keytops for many years. I just had to order an octave for a client that had 2 keys damaged by "piano movers". The octave was around $15 plus shipping.
