how to clean springs?

what should I use to clean the springs under the screwed down part of the tone bars... mine have turned kind of green. Also, what about the tuning springs on the tines? thanks

There are diferent kinds of springs (green, blue, yellow and black)
Its a flag for diferent hardness like a hammer neoprene tips(it is not rusty o dirty).
