Max volume has seemed to drop?

The max volume on my rhodes 88 suitcase has seemed to drop to about 2/3 of what it was a couple of days ago.  All four of the speakers seem to be making sound fine, its just not as loud.  Any ideas?  THanks

Try taking the top off, and dismatling the small box into which the jakes plug into (behind the volume button and so on). Sometimes, some elements go bust in there. Should be no big deal to take this whole "front panel" off, and look at the inside of this box into which the jakes of the cables en up. Just an idea...

also, on a more serious note, the piano randomly stops working.  When a cable is routed from the accessory jack on the keyboard to an input on the amp, it works but there are no effects or volume control, and its quite weak.  A new 4pin cable was just purchased a couple weeks ago.  Thanks for the reply!
