Hi everyone,  I recently picked up a clavinet-pianet duo and have been fixing her up.  Put new sticky pads on for the pianet section but this instrument is very dark sounding still.  Was wondering if anyone has played around with the pianet section of the circuit to brighten it up?

While you could EQ the output from this section I think you'll find that the core issue is the relative simplicity of the waveform produced by the simple spring steel reeds.
So it lacks the harmonic character of the sounds produced by the original 60s Pianets with their ground steel reeds. EQing wont really get you anywhere.
