I'm looking for a Roland Jupiter 4 for a friend of mine. I, personally, have no idea what this is, and any information would be fabulous!

not very common.  vintage synth say's they'd go for about $450.  But prices have shot up on all things vintage in the last few years.  I'd guess that a working JP4 would hit $800-$1000
