Hi!

My Wurlie 200a temolo is stuck in the on position. The pot doesn't do anything. Until recently, the pot worked basically as it was supposed to, but in order to get the trem to stop, I had to turn it quite hard to the left - really press into it at the end of its range. That always felt a bit violent, and now that doesn't even work.

To eliminate the tremolo (I more often play without it), can I easily bypass it with a wire across two of the pot leads, or by disconnecting some of the leads? Which leads would I have to bridge or disconnect? Or do I need to replace the pot? Or could it be something more complicated? I'm not super handy with a soldering iron, but I could learn. Thanks! - Michael in Truro, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, US
