Rhodes Peterson preamp problem

Hi!
I got a problem with my peterson, when I active the vibrato
it makes some noise like a heartbeat (at the rate of the vibrato) all the time
I wonder if it could be a ground problem?
Preamp is fully recapped so no problem with the caps.
