Boss CE-1 vs Retro-Sonic CE-1

Hi there,
Has anyone tried the Retro-Sonic CE-1 clone? Obviously purists would think it's blasphemous to compare but getting an original Boss CE-1 is rare and the condition might be suspect. I've read great reviews regarding the clone, however most of the reviews are done by guitarists.

Help, anyone?
