How to achieve this Rhodes sound?

Hi guys

Check around the 28:25 mark in this video. How would you say this sound is achieved? I think I can get in the vicinity by moving the tines closer to the pickups to get that hard overdriven tone. What do you think? Is there a way to amp your Rhodes to get this sound? It is awesome :)

at 29:36 it sounds like there's wah.  what may be happening before that is that he's got a wah pedal and leaving it turned on but not actually moving it.  So if the pedal is engaged halfway and left on but not changed, it might be pulling out some of the EQ.

Otherwise it's a '75-'78 stage piano with a darker set up tone - tonebars higher above the center of pickups.

 If it's stock, I'm going to guess that it's a 74-mid 75, based on the latches and hinges.
