gbuell: Welcome! Not a dumb question. After removing the case cover (which has the latches on it), take off the harp cover (which covers the main piano guts) by pulling up at the back and lifting the entire up and out. The serial number is located on the right side of the wood you'll see after removing this cover. The date code is stamped 4 digits, and the serial number is typed smaller, starting with a "K."

dont know if mentioned in the thread, but if i remember correctly keyboard carriage only ships business address to business address.
bjammerz is correct, you'll have to find a local music shop in both areas that will be willing to harbor the Rhodes until Keyboard Carriage can pick it. Most music shops are willing to do this. They might charge you to do this though.
Keyboard Carriage is definitely the way to go!

Hello all! I hope you are having a great New Year.
Thank you all for helping to compile the list of Mark Vs that are here so far. I am hoping we can continue having the list grow.
As far as updating from my end, it seems now that no Ebay seller is posting pictures of the serials of the their Mark V. This has been the case with the last few Mark V auctions. In fact, there are two Mark Vs for auction right now with no closeups of the Turbojet or serial numbers.
Oh well. It may be more difficult to keep track of these than I thought. I still hope people will be inspired to contribute the serials and where the keyboards end up, like they do on the Rhodes Chroma site.
Until then, keep looking out for Mark Vs!

My Mark V has the serial # K805773 (3384). Another number is stamped on the frame: 017249-TBJ (Quality control maybe?). I have purchased it from the Ebay seller Olivia's Vintage, 4 years ago and it's sitting in my project studio in Normandy-France. It's complete with original stand, pedal and case and I would give its condition (both cosmetic and technical) a 8/10 evaluation.

Mark V 1 unit here in Thailand. My production code stamp is 3884 but I cannot see the SN stamp on board where to look guys?

Well the serial number should be in the "RHODES" black stamp in the upper right hand corner of the wood harp, in the stamped box near the date code.
Ohh How stupid I'm :shock: ..... it was listed under that frame. Hope this help for your tracking back to the future.

Mine has 801966, Date Stamp is 2784. Bought it seven years ago from a guy in Frankfurt, Germany. He had two (!) of them standing around in a garage (!!). But they were like new (!!!). Darn - I should have bought the other one, too...
