got a suitcase 88 (#2378) 100w (dual 50W) janus w sliders, in brazil

I fucked up changing components on the power amp. used the Vintage Vibe rebuild kit. rebuilt power unit first. while rebuilding the power amp I plugged Q2 and Q5 backwards, that is not right combo of CBE pins. powered the amp up and got no sound from that channel. so upon dissasembly I realized my mistake.

so question 1 is Would the Q5,2 have burnt at that point?

I disassembled them and soldered them correctly and powered the amp again. Amp sound, Smoke and Q6 literally cracked. swapped Q6 for another one, powered up and R15, R17 burnt. I guess I´m up for a second rebuild now, kit included.

questions:
why did the resistors burn? due to wrongly  connected7burnt Q2,Q5 or Q6?
sourcing the exact resistors might be tricky, is there any tolerance?

Hello people,I'm writing to see wether somone can help solve an affair with my  +-1978 88key suitcase. (Exact serial to be produced upon demand)
I' m in argentina, i bought the piano several years ago. It has allways made a little distortion, depending on the weather  or something. i used to think there was something wrong with the amp. But have now come to think it has to do with the speakers, after succesfully cancelling most of the distortion by applying some pressure with spongy foam on some points on the exterior of the cone rims. While testing and reading some tech talk i found out that the original speakers were 32ohm wired paralell and that if those are replaced with 8 ohm speakers they should be wired in series.
Here's when a bell rang  in my head. I had seen my speakers were not 32 but 8 s they must have been changed at some point. They dont exhibit any brand. Just some serial number. Furthermore they are wired PARALELL! So I thought maybe the distortion could be nfluenced by incorrect wiring an whatever that might have done to the amps components. I wired in series and heres the strange thing: i got no more sound out f the right channel and low power high distortion sound through the left channel. I tested the fuses that are right before the speaker output and they were ok. So i re wired in paralell and got back to the original situation with clear sound with some little distortion and somewhat more power or overdrive on the right channel than on the left one. This can be clearly heard with the stereo modulator set to max amplitude and slow speed.

So what do you think?? Why Are my 8ohms working apparently quite right when wired paralell and why do i get half silence half distortion when wired in series? Would the amp be damaged? I bought a complete amp rebuild kit not long ago but have not intalled any of it yet

Thank you in advance for any advice you mean might have for me
