Folks,
Working on a 1973 Suitcase 88 and noticed that there never was a rear logo on this one. Only the logo on the amp / speaker cab (and the small one on the name rail). Anyone else ever see this?

Here's an odd one. I'm working on a Mark I Stage 88 (4876) for a client and noticed that 2 of the mid section key peds were off of the keys. Pulled those out to look at and barely touched one of their neighboring key peds. It came right off. After getting all of the keys out I find that all of the key peds (bare wood - felt on hammer cam) are snapping off at the slightest touch. Thought it might be from extreme heat so I checked all of the black key caps and they are quite secure. Bad batch of glue? Either way I'm snapping them off and glueing them back on. Running out of clamps though. Happy Tuesday!

Folks,
I've got a client with a 1972 Fender Rhodes with a VV Stereo Vibe preamp. Right now they are running into a small mixer (with some other keys) and into the main PA in their spacious rehearsal room. They wanted my advice on what would "sound" best for this FR. I, not being a sound engineer, said I'd see if I could get some different ideas  for him. What would you do with this FR in this situation?

1 1976 Mark I Stage 73 case.

1 1980 Mark II Stage 73 action (keys, hammers, dampers, frame, harp) No tines, tone bars or pickups.

1974 Mark I Stage 88 action (keys, hammers, dampers, frame, harp) No tines, tone bars or pickups.

1978 Mark I Suitcase 88 piano case.

1 Mark I Janus Suitcase bottom (amp may need work - 3 speakers fine, 1 with hole)

1 Calzone ATA road case. 1 small hole. For a suitcase bottom, but will work for a stage 73. In new condition, other than the damn hole (forklift fork - arrrggghhh)

Tons of tines, tone bars (original and replated) and pickups.

Used case hardware.

Hammers, dampers and keys.

Namerails, harp covers and harp frames.

Lots of tolex (black and other colors).

I'm spring cleaning in the shop and have found a couple of sets of complete dampers.
One is a new (never opened) Speakeasy Vintage stainless steel complete set (without felt) for a 73.
The other is a complete set from an 88. Felt will need replaced on these.

They're collecting dust. Make me an offer.
