Hello!

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I thought I would share this with you, if interested!  Basically, I always loved the tone and solo of keyboard solo off Riders on the Storm by the Doors.  For some reason I couldn't find the solo anywhere so I decided to sit down (on the computer) and transcribe it!  I've never done anything of the sort before, but I think its quite a good result... If anyone is interested, I would be more than happy to post it for you to learn!

hey!

With the sustain pedal I received not too long ago, I seem to have a problem, that maybe some of you may be able to help.  I have a 1976 rhodes (as per stamped on the rail.)  The issue is that I find it very hard to install the pedal, there seems to be a "sweet spot" (very difficult to find) that the whole piano will be able to sustain.  And even then, most of the time it seems like the sustain pedal kind of sticks and jams, but still able to use it, making it more difficult and resulting in unwanted noises.

Is there anything I should check or try to fix?  Right now the way I can install the arm, it goes on the big circular felt under and pushes that.  I would like to be able to fix that since when bringing to gigs or somewhere else, it is hard to install the setup quickly :).

Thanks!

Hello all!

This is my first post on this forum! I have been on this websites many times since it has a lot of very useful information on the rhodes whenever i was stuck.

However, this time i have a little problem (i hope) that needs to be fixed asap (because I am playing this upcoming friday).  I was playing the rhodes and then the sound got cut.  I was surprised and figured it might of been a patch cord problem or something... but no, so i had to open it up and go check... to my surprise, it seems like a little wire broke (those long wires that are connected to each pickup).  Please look at the picture below.

What can I do to fix this and get full sound?
