Hi

I'm curious what effects (boosters, preamps, chorus, phasers etc etc)  pedals you guys are using with your rhodes?

I know this borders on trainspotting behaviour but I just saw a new Australian movie called The Sapphires. Was pleased to see it featured a rhodes stage piano through out.

I was probably the only person who noticed that it was not period correct given that the movie was set in 1968 and the rhodes was a MK1 Stage not available until 1970.

Are there any other movies featuring the rhodes?

Preamps, Modifications & Upgrades / Dyno circuit pots.

Hi All

I'm putting together a dyno preamp using schematics found on the net. Each circuit of the 3 circuits I've seen have different values for various components, especially the pots.

Any thoughts on whether the values are critical or not? My concern is that if the pots for part of a filter circuit, then messing with the values will have an effect.

Cheers

Hi Guys

Does anyone know the thread size for the brace screw on a Mk1 stage?

Thanks

Hi

Doing my first resto (first anything really) on a stage 88. The Legs are very corroded. I was curious if there was anything to worry about regarding getting them rechromed or is it just a matter of taking them to a electroplatter?

Also if anyone in Melbourne, Australia can recommend someone I'd be keen to hear.

Cheers Rob

Hi Guys

Apologies if this has been covered previously, I've has a look in the archives but haven't found anything on the topic. I've just started my restoration of a 76 Stage and reckon I need a preamp in the rail.

Does anyone have or know where I might get a reproduction PCB for a suitcase preamp? I thought it might be worth ask before I try to get an original or design up a custom one.

Any advice one doing this would be appreciated?

Hi

Thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I've just signed up having recently acquired a 1976 Mk1 Stage 88.

Its pretty rough and going to go through a complete rejuvenation which wiull be challenging since I knew virtually nothing about these beauties untill 2 weeks ago. Having spent enough time in and on hammond organs and with some of the amazing resources available on line, I might get through relatively unscathed ... well not too badly eh.

If anyone knows of a sustain pedal and rod available in Australia please let me know.

Cheers Rob
