The Wurlitzer Electric Piano / Uneven sustain
« on: February 19, 2020, 01:34:19 PM »
Hi all - I seem to be having sustain problems on my Wurlitzer 200... the pedal appears to be working, but only on the middle and upper keys, not the lower ones. I've tried tightening/loosening the damper connection rod with a nut driver to minimal success. Any suggestions?

The Wurlitzer Electric Piano / Traveling!

Hello again - had a transportation question... assuming it was secured well in my car... should I have any hesitation about transporting the Wurli upright? On its back I mean? Curious about any negative long-term effects... FYI, it's in a soft case.

The Wurlitzer Electric Piano / Sustain pedal stops working

Hello - just used my 200 model for the first time on some longer gigs and noticed as the gig went on, the sustain pedal stopped working... is this common? Wondering if it's just coming unscrewed with repeated use...

The Wurlitzer Electric Piano / Key Clicking
« on: January 08, 2017, 04:13:25 PM »
Hi everyone - I have a 200 model w/ the 2nd-highest Bb note clicking upon release. Just that note. Pretty consistently. Assuming the cover's on/secured. Thought I saw an earlier thread addressing this with the possible cause being the lid bowing in from having a second keyboard directly on the Wurlitzer. I have had a Nord on there on and off for some weeks. Anyway, not sure what's making the clicking exactly. Any suggestions on how to fix?

The Wurlitzer Electric Piano / Wurlitzer 200 dampening issue
« on: October 04, 2016, 10:24:48 AM »
Hello - just bought a 200 model and there were a couple notes that weren't quite dampening. Turned to youtube and one of the Vintage Vibe videos said to loosen the offending damper regulating screws, which worked, but now I'm noticing once I do this to one or two keys, one or two -other- (nearby-ish?) keys start ringing afterwards. I'm guessing this might indicate a bigger problem, any insight?
