A friend of mine recently gave me his Suitcase 88 Mark I Rhodes (w/o the bottom). When I opened it up, and blew out some spider webs, I tried the action (horribly stiff) and the keys are plastic. Is that normal for this year (1973)?

The Fender Rhodes Electric Piano / Shipping Companies in Mexico for Rhodes

Does anyone know a reliable shipping company within Mexico? I want to bring a Mark I Stage 73 from Mexico City to Los Angeles, and am investigating alternatives to driving all the way down there myself to get it. One option is for me to fly down and then come back on a bus to Tijuana and put the Rhodes underneath as my luggage (if they'll accept it). Any ideas? The Rhodes is in pretty good shape....that's why I want to bring it here.
