Buying / ISO stage 1 88 lid
August 27, 2021, 10:48:23 AM
Hey all! I just found an 88 key fixer upper in need of a new lid! Not the case lid but the plastic part that goes over the harp and such. I'd appreciate some leads as to wear to find one!

Has anyone ever messed around with running audio into the Wurlitzers amp? Im curious as to what it would take to make that happen. Also curious about if anyone has ever installed an fx loop in their wurly? Thanks!

The Wurlitzer Electric Piano / First Steps
November 05, 2019, 08:53:42 AM
Hey guys! I just got my first wurly (206) and i was wondering what you guys do when you get one to get it running in tip top shape as fast as possible. I started with lubricating the action, I'm thinking about enabling the vibrato and possibly adding an effects loop next! I guess I'm not mainly looking for advice, just curious what you peeps have done.

Hey guys, my cp-70 has one key that's a little on the sticky side. When I took a peak underneath it seems the hammer doesn't return quickly. Any thoughts?

Can I get an identification on this Rhodes? Ive never seen one like this. Unless its completely custom.

I am doing a gig with my CP-70 soon and I was wondering if moving it outside in the cold for a few minutes would have a detrimental effect on the tuning of it. I have seen the way that the cold destroys tunings on other stringed instruments so i just wondered if 5 minutes in the cold would wreck everything. Thanks

Other Keyboards & Software Synths / CP-70 Power supply
September 11, 2018, 04:38:02 PM
Hey guys. Im looking to modify a power supply to fit my CP-70. I have the coveted cp-70 2 pin xlr, the cable is just shot. Im on too tight of a budget to pay $75 for someone to have made one that I could have done myself.

Does anyone have any experience with bypassing the pre-amp of a Yamaha CP70?

Hey guys!

I read somewhere(can't remember where) online that wurlys signal is too hot for guitar effects pedals and that it will burn them out.
Whats the truth to this? How can you correct it?

Thanks!
