Hello,

please excuse my bad english explanation. My E7 plays fine when applying the force to the keys from the top.
But if I play e.g. "wider chords" / apply a bit of force to the sides of the keys, the action becomes sticky/slow.
I tried changing a single key brushing with a new one from vintag-vibe: same problem.

It feels like the brushing acts like a "break" to the side of the key. Should I just replace all the brushings?
Is this the "normal" behavior of the clavinet keyboard?

Thank you

Hi, today I've got a E7 for relatively cheap.
It was not played by him for about 30 years, the owner said.
Nearly all hammer tips are broken, but that's not a Problem.

If I switch the pickup buttons to CA their is no sound at all. I think one short time I had sound, but I'm not sure. How can I check that the (lower) pickup works?
And the other thing is, that all Tone-Settings sound the same to me (the sound is really bad, but this is because of the sticky and broken tips).
I can turn all 4 tone-switches on or off, I can't hear any difference. Is this because of the non-working rhythm pickup?
I've expected no sound if all 4 tone-switches are off, am I right?

Thank you.

Hi, I've tested a Pianet Duo today, and asked myself why it needs a battery?
Couldn't find information about this.

I'm not really sure I've got a little electrical shock when closing the lid (aluminum cover) while the Pianet was turned on. Is this possible?
I mean it's only 9V isn't it? Is it save to touch?

Thanks

Hello,

i've got a Rhodes Mark I. It plays really nice, but smells a bit musty, especially if the room gets warm.
Somewhere i read that the cause could be mould on/in the wood, so i took some photos of the keys, that look (most) suspicious to me (see attachments).

Could this be mould (or is it dirt)? And if so, is it bad for health? And how to get rid of it? Would Isopropyl alcohol help?

Thank you
