My cousin was working in a pawn shop in NC and one of his co-workers had this in his garage and wanted to get rid of it.
My cousin traded $100 and a Samick electric guitar worth *maybe* $75 for it.
The serial number is 45007. If anyone has any idea what year it is from the serial number, I'd like to know.
It's a bit dusty inside, but for it's age it was still in tune, played like a dream, and had the legs and pedal. Only thing it didn't have was the rear braces for the legs.
Cosmetically, the tolex is coming off on the top, but not on the piano itself. The only other thing is the "T" is broken off from the "EightyEight" logo. I'm lucky to have a cousin who knows a good find when he sees one.
I played it this past weekend on 2 gigs. I ran it through a Speakeasy Vintage Music StageBox preamp and then into an original block logo MXR Phase 90 before feeding it into my Barbetta Sona 31c amp. Killer sound!
