Hello all, I have a Fender Rhodes Mark 1 73, I've had it for quite some years now. I bought it from a friend about 20 years ago. I had it serviced about 10 years ago. What was always missing was the sustain pedal. Last week I finally bought a Vintage vibe sustain pedal. And now I run into a problem. The sustainplate in the piano seems to be working fine, but it is not pushing the dampers enough, so they still touch the tines. In the low eegions of the keys the sustain is eorking, bit starting from the middle C not. I have opened my Rhodes to investigate, but see nothing what could cause this. On the attached foto you can see the plate in normal state and when I push the sustain pedal. Could anyone tell me how to fix this? Thank you.
