Good one! Is this a Prophet 08 on top of it?

I didn't get the posting because of the missing name in the topic and also the talking about emulation.
The GM Neo-Soul Suitcase is a sample based instrument and not per se an emulation. I bought it right after posting the message here.

I really like the sound of it, it is very versatile due to accurate sampling and the nice interface whith all the classic fx stuff. The only thing which irritates me is the the stereo sound. You can already hear it in the comparison demonstration video. The Suitecase was sampled with stereo mics in front of the speaker among other recording techniques. I don't like it that there is always a stereo thing going on even if you deactivate every fx, so the dry sound is always moving. So the first thing I did was routing the channels inbetween Kontak to a mono instrument.

I did compare it (2,3 GB) with my Mark I, the Scarbee Rhodes (1,3 GB) and the above mentioned Avatar Rhodes (240 MB) as well. In short I would say that the Scarbee Rhodes has the more cleanest sound, in direct comparisson with the Avatar and the Neo-Soul Rhodes, the Scarbee strangely does almost sound like a virtual emulation (physical modelling) instrument (which by the way was my first choice on virtual Rhodes instruments until now).
The Avatar Rhodes sounds really good but is hard to compare as the basic sound doesn't base on around 60 MB sample material. Anyway, I would say the Avatar Rhodes is the best sounding lightweight Rhodes sample out there. The basis of this simple constructed sample sounds far better than some of the ROM-based Synthesizers out there even if it hasn't any extensive samples like release, noise, pedal and so on.
The Neo-Soul Suitcase does sound very raw and full. It really is the sound you would like to use on a deep and soulful track in the house, nu jazz and neo soul genre. The side noises are sampled very accurately and even if it is sample based you can control all the different articualtions on the interface due to the intelligent Kontakt scripting. For me it is my new number one sample because it is so versatile and easy to use. I can get nearly every Rhodes sound I would like to have, in seconds. So I can recommend this instrument in any way. Just the stereo thing is annyoing me but I saved my default instrument with the mono channel routing and everything is fine.
The scripting by the way was done by the guy from acousticsamples.net which also offers a nice 1972 Mark I sample instrument called E-Pian (1,7 GB). As a fan I couldn't resist also and bought this little gem (for under $50!) and really like it as well as it sounds like my first Mark I I bought for years as it wasn't in good shape. The E-Pian really sounds like your woody old Mark I in the attic. For such a cheap price an absolute no-brainer!

Anyway, if I could only choose one of the virtual instruments, I would go for the Neo-Soul Suitecase because of the high versatility in terms of sound. Maybe it is beause of the full 2,3 GB samples which really covers every important noise detail of the Rhodes, particularly the Suitcase.

And I am also in no way affiliated with any of the developers, just trying to share my thoughts on it.

I think it is admirable that Marcos Valle (with nearly 70 years!) is still touring with a real Rhodes piano around the world. I had the opportunity to see him live on his last tour. His direct and dry Rhodes sound was awesome. No tricks and no gimmicks, just a raw Rhodes!
