Typical Italian cheap piano with awful sound i think  :D

Actually, one more thing.  I want to recap the pre-amp, but the values are different than later Peterson models (6.4 uf instead of 4.7uf, 125uf instead of 100uf, and 50uf instead of 47uf). Should I/would I be OK to sub the new values for the old ones? They're the original caps, who knows how spec they are anyway. Thanks!

47u and 50u is the same. 6,4u - now its a 6,8u and 125u - now is 120u

Thanks Alan!   Funny, I knew about the site, and even saw where I could download the schematics, but I somehow missed the owner's manual.   I love the first line: "Gibson's got the sound of today . . . the sound of action!"

The manual answers all my questions about what the switches do, so thank you!    Funny about the reverb.   I couldn't find reverb springs or a tank anywhere, so I figured someone must have pilfered it.

I'm tempted to give it a shot replacing the bulb myself, but we'll see.  ;-)   It won't be soon, though, because I don't see myself using the Percussive setting or Repeat knob much.

No worries about you guys being bad influences.    I was already corrupted long ago.   Luckily for me, though, I bought most of my collection not long after the DX7 came out, back when people were dumping old keyboards for peanuts.    Believe it or not, my Clavinet cost me ninety bucks.

Right now, I'm looking for a Pianet N and a Cembalet.   Might cost a teensy bit more than $90, though . . .
I buy non working cembalet without legs in last year with ship 135$ :)

Any pics will helps  ;)

One problem with this is: The Peterson preamp is too big (wide) and won't fit into the space. (Even if it is centered on the plate.) This is going to force me to wire the volume, tone, vibrato and 4 pin socket from the plate to the preamp vs having them more or less directly sautered to the board.

1. Cut the board
2. take this cutting part on first floor and reverse
3. reunion cutting boards by wires

Sorry for my english :)

First try another amp directly in harp outlet

In my opinion Rhodes is a simply electric guitar  ;) I connect  it to my diy guitar tube amps - trainwreck, princeton, moonlight, and italian elka leslie. Tube amps sound are the best!
