On a stage 73 how much should a pickup read on the multimeter when connected in situe as normal? I know when out of the piano they read between 160-190 ohms...

The wood in the older harps is pinblock wood from acoustic pianos. It doesn't alter the sound, but definitely adds weight. The multi laminations of cross grained wood adds strength and helps to keep the tine mounting screws secure.

I am not completely sure what you mean? I don't see how it could sit any else way? Can you post a corresponding pic of your own rhodes, so I can see how it is supposed to sit?
