An other Question, Why this Rhodes got a bunch of little mtal pieces, is this for more lighter action? is this a good idea when your keys are much heavy (like my old rhodes that certainly take humidity)

Hi, I Just play on my friend Rhodes (look like new) and then i go back to play with my own Rhodes (Look like is age hehe), and the key action is really not the same, because i think mine was stored in a place with a little bit of humidity, and my wooden keys (not all but half of them)rubs on each other more than a good condition Rhodes, its make the action more hard on some keys! I just want to know if I ''buf'' (little bit) the side of my keys, is theres a problem? Logicaly no, i think, but i want to know your point of view  (Sorry for my poor english, i'm French-Canadian)
Thanks!

You got a lid top and you dont know where to put it!
Sell it to me =P  hehe I Didn't got one!
#116
I dont think so, i put a 30-40pound yamaha electone over my no brace rhodes, and theres no problems at all, i see many rhodes with a lot of hardware on it !
#117
did your rhodes top is a round one? and how many pound is your XB-2 ? 'cause i want to put an other keyboard on the top, but it didn't seems to be really ''tough''!

There's my 1980(?) Rhodes Mark 1 Stage Piano(lot of work to do), i paid 200$CAN for it 1 months ago. i'll make restoration inside(tuning, adjust..) then outside (brand news hardware, logos etc..) for now he didn't get the perfect sound, but it'll come!! in 4-5 month i'll post other pictures to show  all the work!

there's a stamp that says : 73 keys (plus 4 numbers) on my higher keys(inside), i dont know if its a date or a serail #.
#120
is that hohner pianet T? Well equiped!! what kind of sound it makes? (like rhodes i think, but what are the major differences with these two keyboards?!) i'm interest to get one one day!
#121
is there a wurlitzer 200A on de left side?
#122
My keys are made of wood
#123
here is the numbers : the upper number is 2480(24th week of 1980), and the lower is 2605 (26th weeks of 1980(I supose), 5th day of the week =Friday)

its pretty strange
#124
yea i know it, i dont know the number by heart, but its seem to be a zero (0) where the years is marked, can be 1970 or 1980.. i'll check it tonight and tomorow i'll post all the numbers..
#125
i don't think so, but i dont know the story of my rhodes... everything is possible! thanks for the info!
i'll take other pictures(outside and inside), and i'll post them soon. Maybe we'll find that mystery answer
