Helpinstill or Roadmaster
« on: April 19, 2019, 11:00:24 AM »
Hello, I just recently bought a Helpinstill.  This is kind of my second one.  I have been using a different one that belongs to a good friend.  I just noticed that his says Helpinstill right above the keys, but the one I just bought says roadmaster in that same spot...  anyone know the difference?  Was it based on when they were made?  They both have 64 keys...
Thanks!

My guess would be that this is only a branding change.
Helpinstill started by selling pick-up systems to install in the buyer's own piano and then moved on to modify acoustic pianos that they bought from a supplier themselves.
At some point they coined and started advertising the Roadmaster product name - easier to say that Helpinstill.
You could possibly track down the start point of this in ads placed in Contemporary Keyboard.
