1974 Rhodes: main screws for keybed...?

Hi all! Been a while.  I have a question relating to a 1974 Rhodes Stage 73.

How should the main keybed assembly be screwed into the case? The diagrams I can find show the later screws (2 large, 2 small) but these older Rhodes don't have those.  Mine currently has 4 screws along the front and another 2 part way back - but these are straight through the tolex into the keyframe ... pretty sure they're not original.

Thanks!

Hi - please can anyone help with location of screws to attach key frame into the main case of a '74 Rhodes with wooden harp supports? Even a picture or similar?

Nooo somebody help me.  I've checked my Rhodes, and it doesn't match the diagram. At most it might have had two screws into the front rail, and two in the back rail. Nothing else unless screwed through from the top. Not sure what to do.

I can offer these before-and-after images of a 1974 I worked on.

Looks like six screws. Three across the front and three across the back.

Thank you - I think mine originally must have had 5 screws, based on (what I think are) original looking holes in the case vs some of the other holes that have been made.  My guess is three across the front (like yours), and two at the back (no centre screw).

The frame is badly cracked where the screws should go, so I might go for 8 screws using your sketchup as a guide.  It would add a centre screw at the back, and two screws roughly in the centre, into the middle rail.  I've ordered a screw set....

Turns out that this Rhodes has spent its whole life from new in the studio from which I bought it, where sadly it has been neglected for the past 20 years.

Thanks again.
Mike.
