Mic and Cabinet Emulators?

I really like the sound of my Wurlitzer through a mic'd up amp, but i moved to a new apartment where I can't make any noise so am back to recording direct! Has anyone experimented with the different mic / cab emulators on the market for guitars and applied them to Rhodes/Wurli? Examples are the strymon iridium, ox top box, boss waza, helix... Would appreciate any thoughts before dropping the dough on one $$$

In my humble opinion, a hardware amp simulator is a good tool if you play live and want to plug into a P.A. instead of a guitar amp. For recording, I'd rather record direct and try different amp sim plugins in the DAW.

I use a cabinet simulator for recording and for gigs.  They would work for apartments.

Has anyone tried the Joyo American Sound pedal? Demos for guitar seem pretty good. It does a simulation of a 57 deluxe.

I am in the market for the same thing for my Rhodes.  I actually only have a tiny solid state 10in practice amp that sounds like crap, looking to upgrade to something with a bit more character but a little nervous about the noise due to apartment living, and I am looking at not running a cab at all.  I've been looking a lot at the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X https://www.two-notes.com/torpedo-captorx.  It seems a little cheaper than some of the others but allows you to emulate different mics and placements.  Sadly no experience with it though.

To piggyback off your post, I am hoping someone on here has some experience with the Captor X and a Twin Reverb.  I am a little worried about the impedance mismatch, but it seems like it may be workable.
