Looking for any information on my oddball 75. Picked up free on CL 8 years ago, finally decided to install a refurb kit from VV. When I got into it, found the #1 hammer was a plastic/wood modified to fit the comb for the plastic hammers, and the second hammer and 2 others were all plastic, but longer at the front and have the cam shape of the wood/plastic. The keys have remnants of red felt, so originally for a pre'75. The odd plastic hammers have the same mold stamp number, but not the 2nd stamp that I think shows production info. I assume this piano was a test bed for the new plastic hammers. Was going to replace to have a standard post'75, but now thinking of keeping it stock for historical purposes.
