Hi, im using a rhodes stage through a preamp into a hi-fi home stereo and im evaluating an offer for a DOD phasor 490 vintage phase shifter to have more flavour and movement to the sound.
Price is 100 euro.
What do you think?
Just having fun

I haven't used one of those myself so I can't say if there is anything special about the sound.
A quick glance at the schematic shows it to be a 4 stage phaser. The elements used for the phase shift are OTA's.
I think there had been comparatively few phaser designs using OTA's; Nobels did one, I believe the MoogerFooger phaser is also using those.
