Ricardo Duna - Brazil

8)  I want to say here, how important are the Rhodes piano in the brazilian music. The quiet sound of this style of music, combines perfectly with the Rhodes timbre. If my Rhodes-friends around the world take a good look, we can search together some examples. Tom Jobim, Cézar Camargo Mariano, Osmar Milito, Azimuth, Michael Franks, Chick Corea and maybe  much more. Well, will see, who loves quiet sound, come with me....

I would be very grateful if you could list some of the definitive rhodes/latin tracks/albums: I have a fair bit of brazilian music but not a lot with rhodes. When I get the chance to do latin gigs the rhodes sounds wonderful.

Rhodes is not played on all the tracks, but several tracks with nicely phased 1970s Rhodes sound.

from Eumir Deodato, "Prelude"(CBS) is the best album with Rhodes suitcase sound.

from Chic Corea albums: "Friends" and "Ligth as a feather" are wonderful.
