Rhodes pickup rivet

Hi everyone,
It's my first post here but I have been on this forum a lot before I joined and just wanted to say thanks for sharing so much information.

I am currently trying to build my own time style piano and was wondering about the Rhodes pickups. I know there is a cylindrical magnet inside and also a rivet shaped part that is separate. I was wondering if anyone knew is this is just a regular steel rivet or if it is the same kind of magnet as the cylindrical piece?

I ended up finding an answer from a patent where they say it is a "ferrous metal like mild steel". I couldn't find how to delete this thread so thought I would post what I found here in case someone needs the information in the future.
