Hi, I'm refurbing a Suitcase which has a 5-pin Janus pre-amp / amp... it's a MK2 piano with a Mk1 rail/amp, which looks nice :)
I want to change the pots but can't find replacements from the normal Rhodes parts suppliers. I want to get it right... can I just order generic pots of the same resistance etc from local electrical suppliers?
They are 5k (vol), 25k rev (vib speed), 100k rev (vib intensity).  I guess they are 6.3mm dia shaft but haven't checked.
Any advice for me?

Yes, you can use plain-old potentiometers.

You might be able to get pots with the exact right-angle solder-pin connection that you need.  I can't get to my Janus preamp right now to look for myself, but there are lots of pot styles sold at Digikey, Mouser, Tayda, etc.

Oops.  Maybe you won't find the right pinouts.  Digikey only stocks three C100K pots.
They stock more than 150 different B50K (50K linear) pots.
Ouch they have zero C25K pots in stock.

Aaah!  Good.  Mouser has them in stock.  Go to mouser.com.

Oh wait.  You are in the UK.  Go to https://www.mouser.co.uk or try Farnell.

Thanks Sean - I hadn't found the pots on mouser, might be a good option. Looking now!
I had given up hope and will try cleaning the originals first. I think a direct replacement will be hard to find, they have an unusually long thread on the pots, but I will have another hunt  :)
