disassembly question (with replating kicker)

when you remove the action rail and the manual tells you to remove the action rail mounting screws,  which screws is it referring to?  they don't appear under that name on the diagram in the book.  

after removing the captive washer nuts, i noticed that there are two still screw bottoms coming from underneath that attach the keybed to each harp support. i tried removing one on one side to see if it was the action rail mounting screw the manual referred to but that side still seemed pretty tight to the keybed.  the other of these screws is disgustingly tight soi thought i'd ask before giving it the drill.  

I also have a question about replating which has been asked a lot o nthe forum; when you replate the tone bars what metal works best? nickel ?  how thick? should i use electroplating?
