Dummy Load Question

Hello,

I'm currently restoring a '77 suitcase.

It only came with 2 speakers.

My question is, if I want to keep running just 2 speakers (One 8 ohm speaker per channel), should I be using a couple dummy loads so the amp sees 4ohms per channel?

Yes a dummy load is likely needed. Although the amplifier is solid state, some were designed for a specific load impedance.
