Anyone know anything about Hammond organs?

I think I stumbled into a free Hammond organ, it is complete with leslie, a little beat up, but it works..  It is a Rythm II model from 1967, says on the tag model T-433.  I am primariliy interested in the sounds of Rhodes type organs but wouldn't mind something Hammond B3ish sounding or something that could be tweaked to sound that way.  Recommendarions, ideas?  I haven't seen it yet but I hear it has a "drum machine" on it also

Well T433 isn't exactly a B3 ...  The T400 series seems to be a later version of the T100 suit.  You can find some info on http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/all_hammonds.html and by googling for "hammond T400". Depending on the leslie model, it's probably worth more than the organ! The best is to go there and check out the sound...

if you want somethign cheaper than a b3 but has a very close sound check out M3s they are smaller but they sound good. B3 C3 and A-100 are all the same internally

i had a similar experience. i am always getting free old keyboards. a year ago, I got a free hammond t-500, quite nice. It's not a B3, but heck, for free, you might as well try. not as good as the free rhodes i got a couple months back
