I need to store my Rhodes Mark I until I complete some remodeling to my home.  Is it O.K. to store it standing on it's end (in the case of course) ?  Or should it be laying horizontal the way it would be if it were played.  Thanks for any help.

I went to get a Rhodes 73 Mark II yesterday... It was at a friends place... The Rhodes was standing there for almost 5 years on his side in the  garage and I took it with me and the thing isn't even out of tune !!!
It was standing in a garage outside and still, it 'survived' :-)

Rhodes is great...

P-action

Standing on its end doesn't cause any problem unless there are vibrations , like in a car.  I transported my rhodes like that once in the back seat of my car.  By the time i got to the gig, some notes were out of tune.
