My Stage 73 Mark I Rhodes (circa 1976-77) is missing a single hammer tip--the C one octave above middle C.  I was looking to order a tip from CAE Sound, but they have a whole mess of options.  Which is the correct tip (hard, soft, new style, old style)?

You want the "new style" yellow or white grade (depending on where your tip break point is).

I have a similar question -- my Rhodes (Mark I Stage 73, with wood keys/ plastic hammers) is also missing one hammer tip (very high up -- i think it's the third to last hammer). Alll the hammer tips on this keyboard are black.  Would the correct replacement be a new style black tip with a wood core?

Also, there don't seem to be any "old style" black tips for keys above #54. Is the fact that the tips are all black mean it's likely they were replaced at some point?
