thats a nice job man, how much that cream tolex run you?? im gonna retolex my mark II, do u think vinyl is a good cheaper subsititute? anyway i really like the job,

I bought it from Vibroworld.... I belive about $70 got me enough to do the top and bottom of the rhodes and the janus I......

I really like the cream, though I thought about the red mainly because of BackRoomStudio's rhodes.....

I feel like it still gives a vintage vibe to it.....

Cool, that price sounds fair, i only need to do the bottom cuz i have no top, and since ive never really needed one, i never looked into it. anyway u think 1 yard or two of the cream tolex is good for just the bottom. (do u happen to know wat kind of vinyl to use and how much it cost, jus thought id ask, if u know) lol sry if its alot of quesitons, im in the process of restoring my rhodes and id like to know from some1 who has experience.

The "Cream/Vanilla Tolex, Bronco Pattern" is what I ordered. It says 25 a yard but it really is $13.12 a yard......

Unforunetly this company is closed while they relocate.
I am sure you can find it somewhere else.....

I would get 2-3 yards to be on the safe side..... I screwed up and had to through about a yard away.... Live and learn right..

Anyway... Weldwood (or wellwood) contact cement from Home Depot worked great to glue it.....

Very nice indeed Builder looks sweet, I came close to doing mine cream but the dark red won over in the end. I've very jealous of the suitcase pre and janus system looks great. Is there a suitcase amp built into the Janus, do you have tremelo etc same as a suitcase? Did you find the Janus seperate or get it with the Rhodes?

The Janus came with the rhodes. It has the same nailrail as a suitcase (EQ slides and Trem)

I think the owner bought the ugrade directly.
