Hi every body from Barcelona!
I've a Suitcase73. Is there any safe way to remove dirtiness from pickups without sanding them ie with a special type of liquid?

Thanks

A dremel and a metal brush attachment ought to get the job done. Keep it on a low speed and add just enough pressure to get rid of the rust and corrosion. A little bit of polymer sealer on the pole will prevent future rusting. The same stuff they put on Vintage reissue guitar pickups.

DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless you want a lifetime of static due to unseen metal fibers clinging to the pickups and tines, you do not want to use steel wool!
If you want to know where to find the booze, ask the engineer...
