Hi!

I'm new to this site...just got my suitcase 73 FREE from a local high school that didn't need it anymore.  I'm about to start the process of fixing this thing up, and most operations seem very clear from the manuals and forum.  However, I have a couple of questions:  First, the highest Eb key is broken, and I need to replace it.  Can any of you point me to a source for these?  Second, it is missing the 5 pin cable that attaches the top to the bottom.  Can I use a standard XLR cable for this, or do I need something special?  I've found the pinouts for the cable on the site, but I don't know if this is the same as a standard XLR.

Thanks to all, and I'm sure you guys will be hearing more from me in the near future!

I'm not a suitcase owner, and I'm fairly new to Rhodes pianos too, but I do know that you do need a 5-pin cable for the suitcase piano, and NOT a standard XLR. You can get the cable you need from www.speakeasyvintagemusic.com , and www.majorkey.com may also have them too. Both sites are great for parts, including the parts for your broken Eb.
