Peculiar Sticky Key Problem

I am having an issue with a Wurlitzer 206 I recently bought. Here's the problem:

when the sustain pedal is dis-engaged, the action across the entire keyboard is perfect - great response and feel. As soon as I hook up the sustain pedal, no matter how I adjust it, keys start sticking or won't strike the reed if I hit the same key twice while depressing the pedal. I need some help.

It sounds like you need to adjust the damper arm screws-be careful,it is VERY easy to break off the stickers. (The long,fragile wood parts at the back of the action) Hold the stickers carefully with needle nose pliers, then turn the damper arm screw (on top) COUNTERclockwise a little to create a small gap. This should solve the problem.Gap should be about 1/32",a little more may be needed.
