Sorry I don't have a digital camera but I'm trying to identify the name of the part which pulls the damper down away from the tine when you depress a key. Is it a 'Bridle Strap'??? On my Rhodes they're all green and made of some kind of fabric?

I JUST (today) got a 1978 Mark I 88 Key Stage Piano and although I've been researching and learning about them I don't know the names of all the bits yet. A couple of small things to fix up but apart from that.... I think I'm in love :D

This must caused from your first day with this nice 88....

You must check at this  Rhodes supersite in the chapter "PARTS AND REPAIRS" -"service manual" .
You will gonna have a long and nice winter of learning...lol...

Wow great to get a response so quickly - thanks guys.

Jim - Do you know if there's anywhere in Australia I can get parts that aren't going to cost the earth?
