Hi , I have a rhodes seventy three which had the tremelo kit added on. The outputs stopped working so I had the tremelo disconected but now I'm assuming I need the five pin cable to power it up. Do I have to hook it up to a specific amp or can I just hook it up to my mixer (for recording)? Also where can I find one of these cables?

thanks for any help..

hi
check this one:

a mixing desk should be fine aswell. you depends on the sound you are lookig for. amps and especially guitar amps color the sound a lot and many rhodes players like the result. other like to connect the rhodes to a mixing desk without an amp. It's a matter of taste.
when using a mixing desk make sure that the input of the desk can handle high impedance instruments as the rhodes is one.
check this section of this site to find one of the part supppliers that sell 5pin cables

kind regards
