Hi,
Can someone please tell me what this does?
It's a control you can twist with a screwdriver, it's located underneath the piano, just a bit back from the phones/aux out outputs.

I don't want to mess with it without knowing what it is, in case I screw something up.
Sorry about the bad picture..

Thanks

Ben Bove

I'm sure steveo can answer this better, I'm trying to remember if it's a volume knob for the AUX out or Headphones.

It is at least the volume for the AUX. Not sure if the headphones are also linked with it.

Hey,
Thanks for the fast reply guys.
Cheers.

It is a trim control for the aux out-to match the output to the input of the external amp (hopefully) without distortion. It has no affect on the headphone output.

I wonder if you could also help me with this.

The pilot light flutters continuously, & very occasionally a short static noise will come through the speakers. Other than that it sounds great.

The piano itself runs on US power voltages but I have it running from a stepdown tranformer. Could this be the cause??

That could be a cause, but I would have an electronics tech do 2 things- replace all of the capacitors, and resolder the entire PC board. I had a similar problem when I bought my 200A, and it just turned out to be poor solder connections on the board-a simple fix.
