Hi friends,

same story, different piano: I want to make use of my remaining time in the US to get tools or generic parts that would be hard to come by in Germany. That means first of all tools in inch sizes.

So, here's my preliminary Wurly list:

- nut driver / wrench in 5/16"

Pretty short, I know

Any other stuff I should think of? As with the Rhodes tools, specific piano tools are a different story, but I'd appreciate advice for screws.
EDIT: Following Rob's advice I'd probably go for a socket wrench or T-handle drivers.

The only other thing I can think of is a capstan wrench,but that's a special piano tool-not because of the open wrench end size,but because they are long,thin,bendable metal,not thick,stiff wrenches....check Internationalpianosupply.com.
The let off adjustment is the most critical Wurli action adjustment.

I don't know if I should bother with screws...probably not really worth it.

I personally wouldnt waste the money on screws-I might recommend them for a Rhodes tho.

when do you go back?  it's been a few years since i've been, but my best friend is having a baby in april, and i'm to be der Pate, so i'd like to go this fall.  i figure i'd give them a few months to adjust to being parents before showing up...
