How much do es the Mark I Stage piano weigh?

I'm shopping for a handcart and need to know how much my 1976 Mark I stage piano weighs. If anyone has some advice about moving the Rhodes as effortlessly as possible, I would be grateful for it.

If it is a 73 key then it weighs about 175 pds. If it is an 88 key then its right around 200 pds. Getting a good handtruck with straps on it is a good start. Once you have gotten used to moving it several times its a breeze.  :wink:

No seriousely...about 80 kg for the 73 Keys and 100 kg for the 88 keys. Incl. confettis and cigarettes.

I thought a 73 key piano weighs in at around 110lbs which is 50kg, give or take.

My 1974 Mark 1 88 weighs close to 200 lbs packed and ready to go.  Get a moving dolly (truck) with straps and rails on the back, similar to what movers use to get appliances up and down stairs.

Agreed: an appliance dolly with strap makes it much more manageable. I took my suitcase up and down a flight of stairs unassisted with mine.

Harbor Freight is the BOMB when it comes to anything tools. I need to get one of those appliance hand trucks for my Rhodes as well as my CP-70. Do you think it would handle a CP-70 alright?

I've moved appliances with mine. As noted above, don't pay full price (for anything they sell).
