Hi,

I have a Rhodes Home Piano, which is IDENTICAL to the one in your picture at the bottom of this page: http://www.fenderrhodes.com/models/student.php

I am thinking of selling this and was wondering what I should expect to receive for it... I am based in the UK.

Regards,

Adrian

I just paid $900 for mine, it's in complete working order and looks just like the one in the photo. That may be one of the few comparable sales you can come up with. I'd consider that somewhat below market value given the rarity.

A suitcase is more desirable from a playing perspective--this model is mono. And it's heavy. And the case is made of veneered particle board so it's unusually fragile. Sure is pretty though.

You know what should be worth a try?
Post an ad on www.marktplaats.nl
Rhodes' on that internetauction usually go away for around €1200,- (and i'm only talking about stage models)
You should get a lot more money for it as for on eBay.

Hi Jordy,
yeah marktplaats is very expensive, there seems to be a run on every rhodes in town over there and the sellers know it...
If you're still looking also check ebay.de, there are always some Rhodes floating around in germany and if you have a car you can cover a big part of germany for pick up. Belgium is not good for 2nd hand rhodes, so is France.

Even London is cheaper than mainland Europe for prices! If you can make it, it's probably worth coming over to the UK to pick one up. I was determined to pick one up here before moving to the Netherlands as I knew I'd be hard pushed to find one at a reasonable price.

yeah it takes a lot of internet seeking to find a decent priced one here, but hey, it keeps you off the street I guess... It's becoming like a sport after a while.
You sure you want to move to the Netherlands?? I just left...
Anyway, congratulations on your MK II it looks pretty good and a really good price you found it for!

I'm very surprised to see a Rhodes Home piano in Europe
