Weak output from Mk II

We can't figure out what's wrong with  our Mark II. We have to jack up the volume on any amp we use with it; it just seems to have weak output.

I've cleaned the pot- what's left? Change the resistor? It seems an unlikely solution.
This almost *has* to be something simple. Any ideas?
My roommate, a fellow Hawkwind fan aware of Wilhelm Reich, frequently jokes that I left the "Organ Accumulator" turned on.
I am on my 3d Rhodes (a 1980 MK II Stage 73), which I am restoring to sell. I am about to inherit (sadly) a restored Wurli of unknown origin. My house is awash with Hammond Spinets (and an H series console), 4 Farfisa items in various stages of disrepair, and I sold the remains of my Vox Super-Continental to get my working Yamaha dual-manual combo organ. I have from 2-3 Moogs, depending on what you call a Moog.
My girlfreind says I am like a cat lady, but with keyboards. The punchline: I am a guitarist.

Hi.
what kind of amps are you using ?
did you check the grey RCA cable connecting the harp's output with the stage's preamp? And the jack of the harp aswell. the connection might be bad due to corrosion.

bypass the stage's preamp with a RCA to jack adapter. Do have a good audio level now ?

kind regards

The basic "what kind of amp" question is, keyboard/PA or guitar/bass???  The Rhodes has pickups, so it needs a guitar or bass amp.  Otherwise you need to use a preamp, which could be hidden in the 1/4" mic input that most keyboard amps have these days.
